We woke up bright and early after a night of little sleep in Chris and Lisa’s room, sending Happy Birthday wishes to Stacy who would be traveling home from MS on her real birthday so we could all gather together to celebrate the blessing she is to each of us. During the day though, Grandpa, Deedee, Lisa, Leia and Ivy went to the pool to cool off from the hot day while daddy stayed hime to rest after a long night of no sleep, aunt Stacy and uncle Mark finished up their weekend trip to MS for a wedding, and Mimi ran soccer and dance practices for Sara and Katie. Personally, I think the gang at the pool had the most fun 😉

That afternoon we all met up at Pita Stop for a birthday lupper. Chris came with us but as he sat down in the chair he had to immediately get back up from the pain he felt in his back. He walked outside to see if he could walk it off but it was to no avail. After several texts he finally took his parents car and headed home to see if the zero gravity chair or stretching back out in the bed could provide relief. We all enjoyed dinner together then Mimi and the Rhoads took our crew home to check on Chris and get ready for his biopsy tomorrow.

Loved watching their dive competition 

The pool felt great with Lisa’s foot. Not having a boot on and feeling weight less in the water was nice! 

Mark took Stacy to brunch before they headed home and Miimi was there to great them with Sara and Katie when they got home

Thankful to have a sister! I hope this year brings many blessings for you
