South Florida Trip

The trip was bitter-sweet. We went down for the memorial for aunt Bobbie which turned into a celebration of life spending time with family we do not get to see as often as we would like but we treasure the time we do get to spend with everyone of our loved ones.

Sweet girls started having fun the second we got to the airport looking forward to seeing everyone

When meet up with their cousins as soon as we got to Florida for the fun to begin and got to sing Happy Birthday to aunt Kelly 🙂 The girls had a blast running around with their cousins and trying to crack open coconuts.

That evening we went to the celebration of life for aunt Bobbi; it was great to hear all the stories and memories of her life. The girls were super excited to see uncle Johnny and asked when he was coming back to visit us again. Later that evening we celebrated Kelly’s birthday with the whole family. It was fabulous seeing her on her birthday and getting to hug her neck.

Sunday we enjoyed the day at the hotel pool with Grandpa, Deedee, Kelly, Adrian, and Alicia before the Requena-Comfort gang headed home. It was the first time that we actually went to the beach during one of our visits; wish it had been a little better weather and not quite so windy but we still had fun.

We had so much fun playing with cousins and having dinner with Teri, Winnie, Taylor, Gus, and Austin on Sunday. The girls loved the vampire teeth they got and eating popcorn at the restaurant.

The girls went back to play with their cousins for a little bit and say goodbye to them. We loved getting to spend time with our family. As a surprise Grandpa and Deedee were on our flight back to Atlanta.

  1. That was such an amazing time for everyone even though we were celebrating the passing of Aunt BOBBIE!’ It was so great to have almost all of the family there and the cousins had such a great time together!!! Love, Aunt Joy
