What a fun Halloween! We went to “Halloween in the Hood” in our neighborhood this year. It will be a fun tradition for years to come. Leia and Ivy dressed as Shimmer and Shine genies divine. We meet up with our neighbors, super girls and cheetah to walk down to the party. Stacy and Mark came over not long after with Cleopatra and a rainbow cheetah. Then Janet and Bobby brought their little pizza to meet up too. Leia’s assistant soccer coach brought a hay ride the kids could hop on while we were walking around the neighborhood and the neighborhood “candy man” was open this year giving out full size candy bars. After Leia hit that house she decided that she was ready to head home to hand out candy. Ivy went to a few more houses then mommy told her we needed to head back too. They both handed out candy for about 15 more minutes then we got baths and called it a night after our fun weekend and Halloween festivities with neighbors and friends.

Must say thank you to our amazing and talented Deedee. When the girls said they wanted to be Shimmer and Shine for Halloween in September we could not find the costume anywhere in their sizes so we asked our talented Deedee to make them. Deedee ended up finding a costume for Ivy just before she was going to make one but had to make sweet Leia’s. Thank you for our awesome costumes.

Loved their costumes!! Love, Aunt Joy
