Leia

May Field trips

Both Leia and Ivy had a field trip the first week of May. Mommy was thankful they were on separate, non-work days so she got to go with them :). Although, Leia had a special mommy tea on the day of Ivy’s field trip. Thankfully the timing worked out perfectly so Lisa could be at both events especially after Leia had made a big deal about how mommy always tries to be at everything she has and it makes her feel so special … she was tugging on my heartstrings and mommy wants Ivy to feel the same way as Leia. Mommy and Daddy love you both so much!

Leia went to the McWane Science Center. The kids had a great time! It was packed though with everyone getting in a end of the year field trip. There was quite a bit of free time in the schedule so Lisa let her group decide where they wanted to go. Of course, everyone’s favorite area was Itty Bitty World. Love watching them all interact and the differences in each child between the beginning of the school year and now. Wow, it won’t be long and we will have a 1st grader.

Ivy and her class got to go to Baker’s Farm. She was so excited about the hayride! They enjoyed a snack on the ride then when we got back they were able to help feed baby goats, big goats, sheep, and cows. Ivy was into throwing the corn over the fence for the animals and good with giving the little cows a bottle but not so good when there was not a fence between her and the animals. She has a sweet class this year and sweet teacher.

We finally got a windy day so after Ivy’s field trip when mommy pick up Leia we went to the park to fly kites. The girls have been asking to do this for weeks but unfortunately it was not windy on our free days. They were so excited! An added bonus was we were able to play with sweet friends from Leia’s class at the park who flew kites with us and joined us in our picnic snack. Ivy also had gotten a freesbie from her treasure box that day so it was perfect to include in our afternoon at the park fun.
