Girls love to sleep with mommy when daddy is out of town 🙂
Treasure this time and them wanting to be with us and pray blessings over our girls.

Ivy sets up her spot anytime Leia is not home and Lisa is in bedroom with all her stuff. We are looking forward to summer to have Leia stay home with us on non-work days.

After a week of just me and the girls Grandpa and Deedee came to visit and went to Ivy’s art show at school with us. The theme was cowboys, cowgirls, and Indians but mommy forgot about the theme so we just went in out cute purple dresses. Daddy got home that evening too. We all miss our daddy when he is away on business.

Friday afternoon Ivy got to go to her sweet friends Morgan’s birthday party at the bowling alley. Leia enjoyed some one on one time with Deedee while the guys golfed. Thankful that Leia got her time with just Deedee since she was a little sad that she had to go to school and Ivy would have one on one time. That evening we met Mimi and Al for dinner since they came back in town from the beach.
Saturday was Ivy’s first ballet recital. She was front and center during the dances. Everyone in the group did a dance then they broke it into a few at a time before everyone came back for some free style. Ivy did awesome! There was a great cheering crowd for her too. Thankful for everyone that came to cheer her on.
After the recital we headed to Newnan to visit so we could go to Adrian’s birthday party on Sunday. The recital must had worn Ivy out but big sister was entertaining us on the drive.

Adrian had his party at a indoor soccer field. Those boys can play some hardcore soccer. The girls entertained themselves in the bouncy house, playing chase, and then Leia found a spot to relax. The parents enjoyed playing dodge ball against some of the kids before everyone headed to go enjoy pizza and sing happy birthday to Adrian.
Love our weekday dance party and family game times! Hope our girls remember this time as they grow.

Katie had her first piano recital Thursday evening (April 28th). She did awesome! She played “Old McDonald” and “Amazing Grace”. Papa would had LOVED her playing “Amazing Grace”; I vividly remember him singing that on multiple occasions.

Friday, Leia had her kindergarten performance of Barnyard Hullabaloo for the parents and guests. They had performed for the school on Thursday. They did a great job! Thank you Mimi and Al for coming to cheer for our little cowgirl. Deedee and Gigi arrived at lunch time to spend the weekend with us.

Saturday, we went to lunch at Mimi’s. We got to use Mimi’s new cushion covers Deedee made. Deedee is very talented! We left Mimi’s a little early to take Leia to a classmates birthday party at Lets Play. Mommy and Leia had gotten to the end of the street when Leia asked if Ivy could come too since “she always has more fun when [her] sister is with her” … that is a quote from Leia’s mouth. Love the sweet relationship they have and pray they are always close. The girls were super excited to get to enjoy the dance party since you only get to do that at parties and of course Mrs Jennifer said there was plenty of cake for Ivy to join the fun too.
Sweet Ivy helped mommy cook breakfast Sunday for everyone. Grandpa and Deedee played with the girls. It is funny, Leia hides and Ivy wants to get tickled. We also managed to get a updated 4 generation picture of Gigi, Deedee, Chris, and the girls before they headed back to Newnan. Thankful to get to spend time with them this weekend!

Wow what a busy time!! So glad Gigi got to visit all of you too. Love, Aunt Joy
