Leia’s class put on a sweet mother’s day tea for all the mommas and special guest the Thursday before Mother’s Day. When the mommy’s walked in each child had made a sweet card for their mommy, a plate with their handprint, and served tea and snacks. Such a sweet time and so thankful to be this little princess’s mommy and the joy that she brings to our family.

Sweet Ivy’s class made plates and cards for their mommy’s too. Ivy wanted me to open it right away when she gave it to me Friday. Apparently, the card was for mommy but the plate is hers. Made me smile when she wanted to share the gift. She is so full of joy and brings a ton of laughter to our little family.
Mother’s Day morning our little monkeys came in singing songs with their guitars accompanied with snuggles. Chris started spoiling me the Saturday night by cooking dinner then fixed breakfast Sunday morning for sweet family time before we headed to church for muffins with mom and our family picture. We headed to Mimi’s for lunch right after church to celebrate the day with Mimi, Nana, and aunt Stacy. The 4 little munchkins were full of energy and ended up swimming in the freezing water while the adults stayed warm in the sun chatting and listening to the girls chatter and laughter. That afternoon we headed home to FaceTime Deedee and Gigi to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day. That evening we went to Sweet Frogs to celebrate over ice cream; the girls always think ice cream makes a celebration.
This man … love him bunches!
He is the best daddy and husband we could have imagined. Thankful to be doing life beside him.

Mother’s Day celebration. So thankful to get to celebrate the day with these ladies. Missed spending it with Deedee too but thankful we got to spend the weekend before with her and Gigi. Blessed to have a family full of amazing mother’s who share their love with their children and family.

Growing up when someone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always a mommy. So thankful to be able to live out my dream and get to be a mommy!

Glad you had such a special day!!! Aunt Joy
