Deedee came to town to visit and sew a few beautiful dresses for Miss Leia. She set up shop in the dining room and started to work. Leia looks like a princess in them all, perfect for the daddy-daughter dance this year. The girls enjoyed staying home with Deedee while mommy and daddy worked. They went to get donuts one morning, went to the park, played at the house, and Deedee managed to finish Leia’s dresses. Sweet Ivy helped sissy get dressed to model her dresses. Leia is wanting to FaceTime people just to show them her new fancy dresses. Since Deedee left we have heard how much our girls love Deedee repeatedly. We all sure do love our Deedee and thankful she shares her talents and time with us. Looking forward to visiting them in a couple weeks too.
We took full advantage of Deedee coming and went ahead to get Lisa’s ear worked on while she was hereThursday morning. Chris and Mimi took Lisa in for a ear procedure that had to be on outpatient (keep hoping to grow out of ear issues). Mimi has sat through 20 something of these with Lisa, this was Chris’s first go around with the ear junk. Been blessed the last one lasted 9 years :). That was a great stretch between them! We were there by 5am and were able to get in and out in 3 hours, quickest time I ever remember or maybe it is just that I am not as impatient as I use to be ;). Thankful for both of them going, being able to rest for the anesthetics to wear off, and our church for sending a yummy fruit arrangement to snack on that afternoon and Mimi sending beautiful flowers to brighten the day. Blessed to have so many people love and care for us.

So glad you had a great time with Deedee and the dresses are beautiful!! So glad your ear procedure went well and that you will be feeling great tomorrow! Love, Aunt Joy
