Easter Day a celebration of Jesus conquering death. Thank you Jesus for giving us the opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven with You. I know that we will get to spend eternity with our King and family members who trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Thankful to get to spend a beautiful day with part of our family and celebrate Jesus’s victory over death.
Because of Jesus we will get to see our loved ones that have gone before us.
The last Easter on earth with a great man we got to call Papa. Thank you God for providing a way for us to spend eternity together again.

The girlies were excited the Easter bunny had come this morning. Ivy loves her koala while everything else was second rate in the Easter basket until late in the afternoon and Leia was excited about everything she got in her basket. Lisa and Mimi got to cook breakfast together and Mimi made cross biscuits, a hit with the girls :). The girls watched TV and relaxed with Chris while Lisa and Mimi started lunch preparations; felt like old times cooking with momma before marriage or kids. Chris went to rest while Lisa played with girlies since he was not feeling 100% and others started arriving. The little ones all hunted eggs while lunch was finishing being cooked. Uncle Mark said the blessing then we all enjoyed a nice meal together before the kiddos went to hunt eggs again after lunch. It was a great day fellowshipping with family, remembering family members that left us too soon, and praising God for his gift of eternal life we are promised because of this day we celebrated today. Happy Easter – He has RISEN!
Easter bunny and temperature checking, fun morning. Ivy and Chris both were not feeling 100% this Easter

Family tradition, pictures first to make sure kids are not restless. It was difficult with a little Ivy this year

Egg hunting fun. There were 6 kids and about 150 prize eggs. They had fun

Mimi had surprises for everyone. Such a generous heart

Lunch and snuggles, what more could a momma ask for 🙂
Had to take a picture of sweet Ivy sleeping on way home since it is a rarity that she falls asleep in the car

Thankful for this day the Lord made, let us rejoice and be glad in it
So glald you had such a wonderful Easter with your family. We had a great Easter too! Love, Aunt Joy
