Leia

Black Friday & Iron Bowl

We decorated the tree Sunday after Lisa got back from NYC.  Chris put it up and got the lights on it while Lisa was heading home. The girls were so excited. Ivy hung a few decorations but Leia hung in almost all the way to the end. When asked about going to Mimi’s to help too Leia immediately wanted too. She said “Christmas is my favorite time of the year”… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, it is momma’s too. They have enjoyed laying in front of the tree watching tv or just looking at the lights. 🙂

We normally avoid the craziness at the mall on Black Friday. However this year Lisa and Mimi took the four monkeys (Chris volunteered to go to Publix’s instead to avoid it). It really was not as bad as we thought it could had been but apparently that was because they opened at 5 pm on Thanksgiving and the craziness happened overnight per a mall employee. The girls had a great time. Mimi spoiled them all and there got to have lunch, ride carousel, and get a bear & extra something as Build-a-Bear. Thank you for the precious memories.

Chris and Lisa hosted the 2014 Iron Bowl family bash. Enjoyed watching the exciting 1st quarter and disappointing 2nd quarter with them before everyone headed home. Glad Alabama showed up the second half to pull the Crimson Tide to victory on the highest scoring Iron Bowl in history. Alabama wins 55 to 44.  Roll Tide Roll!
