Leia woke up this morning a whole year older. It was sweet to open my eyes to see her looking at me and getting to wish her a happy birthday. Leia, Mimi and mommy laid in the bed talking and laughing. Leia said we “were cracking her up”; she explained that her friends at school and her say that, it means we are making her happy. Chris was out of town but sent Leia a happy birthday video she got to see while daddy was in a meeting. She got to open her gifts from Mimi before being served the breakfast she ordered complete with a candle in a cinnamon roll and happy birthday song. The girls got to play a little bit until they were ready to go pick out a movie for Leia’s birthday. Mimi bought all her princesses a movie of their choice, including her big girl. Next up on Leia’s day of birthday fun was pedicures. It was entertaining watching our little princesses sit in the big chairs taking it all in. Leia requested going to Joe’s Crab Shack for lunch like sissy did for her birthday. Ivy was a sleepy and whiney so we headed home right afterwards for a nap. Leia wanted to watch the movie she picked out so rested in the den and watched a movie. After sweet Ivy woke up we went to meet Sara and Katie for ice-cream for a little birthday celebration. Daddy was on his way home from his work trip so we didn’t stay long since we wanted to get home before he did. Our birthday girl was excited to see him walk in with pink roses all for her then she wanted to open her presents from mommy and daddy (mommy made her wait till daddy got home). After dinner leia chose to go get donuts for her birthday treat and look at Christmas lights to end her birthday celebrations.

In lieu of cake we got a treat from Dunkin Donut and Leia was treated with a special birthday drink before we drove around looking at Christmas lights with our birthday girl
