While daddy is gone the girls will play. ;).  Lisa, Leia and Ivy invited Shiana, Tiffani, and Pam over for a little fire pit fun. Unfortunately Lisa had to work and they were later than expected due to play practice but once we all arrived it was great time, however, it was a later night than normal though. Thankful that Tiffani helped Lisa watch the fire/keep it going while she grilled the hotdogs and gathered yummies in the basket for dinner so dinner was at least before 7. Leia and Ivy enjoyed playing out back on the trampoline and play set until it got too dark then they helped tend the fire. The littles all started eating before Pam and Shiana got back with pumpkins (gores) to paint. Shiana was the true-blue fire pit girl, roasting her hotdog in the fire too. Once everyone ate it was time for the main event, s’mores. We could not convince our girls to try a s’more, they would only eat the chocolate, march mellow and cracker separate. Every one filled up on s’mores (or the ingredients) then we put the fire out to go up to the house for arts and crafts. Shiana decorated cooked with the little ones while Lisa and Pam cleaned up and got the table ready for pumpkin painting. The girls did awesome painting their fall items that will add a great touch of fall decorations to our home. Ah, fall is our favorite time of the year and tonight was great with the cooler weather and warm fire on a beautiful fall night! 🙂

Mommy was so excited. The girls stayed down at the fire pit the whole time. Hope the love of outdoors is shared with our girls. It may had been that Tiffani wanted to stay out though since Leia said she was sad Tiffani wouldn’t go inside to play with her instead of staying out at the fire pit. One day our sweet girls will love it as much as mommy.
