We were so excited for aunt Joy and uncle John could stop by on their way down to watch Ricky and Brian in their first full iron man. Must admit, it was a full day with the worries of the water issues at the house – so thankful Mimi was there. Lisa left just before 5am to go to AmericaMart in Atlanta to shop for the day, Chris was on a business trip, and the girls were staying with Mimi. Lisa got a call that morning that there was a leak in the house from a lady that had come to clean and she could not get the water turned off. Thankfully when we called Mimi she headed straight to the house to turn the water off and called a plumber. Thank you Mimi for hanging out at the house to wait on the plumber and making sure we had water in the house when aunt Joy and uncle John arrived. Mimi even baked us yummy brownies for dessert that evening while she waited at the house. Leia had everyone at the kitchen table for “music lessons” when Lisa arrived. Mimi headed home to get her things done shed missed that day taking care of our house not long after Lisa arrived. The girls showed Joy and John the toys outside, their secret rock collection, and got to enjoy being the center of attention while the crock pot dinner and sides were finishing up. (Joy and John offered to take us out but Lisa insisted on cooking in so the girls could run around and we could relax, especially after traveling the day). The girls liked being at home and having dinner on the porch with their guest and entertained themselves after dinner while the adults got to talk. Chris called not long after the girls went night night and was able to get to talk to Joy and John too. The next morning, one of Ivy’s first questions was if Joy and John was still here so she could play some more with them while mommy cooked pancakes – love that little girl. Joy and John headed out not long after breakfast to get to the beach. It was so nice to get to visit and having them stay the night with us. After they left the girls asked if they were coming back again and I told them I sure hope they get to come back soon. Love having our family and friends come visit us.

We had such a wonderful visit and loved your home and getting to spend time with you, Sheila, Leia and Ivy!! Thanks for everything, Love Aunt Joy
