Finally it snowed instead of iced :). Leia was in bed but still awake so we went and asked her, “do you want to build a snowman”. She hoped up so Chris, Leia and Lisa all could go outside. We built a little snowman then our neighbors showed us how to roll snowballs so we got to build a little bigger one. Then we ran around the yard throwing snowballs until we got cold and came in to drink hot chocolate in big girl, breakable cups. Such a sweet memory playing in our front yard in the snow. Hopefully in the morning before we head south to Florida Ivy will get to play in it too.
Our first attempt and second snowman

Snow men and fun … so glad we got Leia up

Hot Chocolate afterwards to warm up in a big girls cup

We did not leave Miss Ivy out, she got to play too. Ivy, Leia, and Lisa got to go out to enjoy the snow in between packing. Ivy got to build a little snowman on the porch, girls did snow angels, slid down slide, jumped on trampoline, and explored the melting snow as it dripped on our heads from the trees above. Ivy’s favorite was eating the snow. Lisa had put bowl out the night before and made snow cream for the girls not long before we hopped in the car for a weekend getaway to escape the cold.
