We have been celebrating Valentine all week. Deedee sent the girls a beautiful Elsa dress they opened on Monday. Tuesday, Sara and Katie spent the day with is so we had a valentine celebration. Wednesday night we opened our valentines to each other since we were leaving on our trip the next morning. Thursday on the drive down we told the girls we were going to Disney World as a surprise on the way to Gigi’s. Today (Valentines Day), the girls got another little one from us and the one from Mimi; then exchanged valentines with cousins Adrian and Alicia at Gigi’s. This has been a big Valentine for our girls.
Monday, Valentine from Deedee and Grandpa. So thankful our Deedee can sew beautiful dress ups for the girls who LOVE playing dress up

Exchanging with cousins Adrian and Alicia

It has to be said our girls did amazing on the drive to Florida! They entertained themselves watching movies, playing with the toys in the car, and running around at our stops; we only heard a handful of times if we were there and how much farther. They both fell asleep within an hour of our arrival but had little trouble falling back asleep in the room.We surprised them with a pit-stop in Disney for a day. The last time we were there we missed going into Belles castle, they still didn’t have a spot open for dinner but we managed to score fast pass for the quick service at lunch so the girls got to eat at Belle and the Beast’s castle. Friday morning we were up early and made it to the park a few minutes before it opened. We decided to make the most of the day starting off flying on the Peter Pan ride, hopping over to It’s a Small World, then onto the Carasoul before explored life under the sea with Ariel, and flying on the amazing Dumbo, the flying elephant. Finally, it was time for brunch at Belles castle, then we headed to ride Winnie the Pooh, experienced the enchanted tiki room, flew on Aladdin’s carpet, explored Africa on the Jungle cruise, enjoyed a show at Cinderella’s castle, rode Buzz light year and ended on the People Mover before calling it a day close to 4 to head to Gigi’s house. We had planned on spending the whole day, into the night but all of us were exhausted and wanted to get to Gigi’s to visit with our family that evening before everyone fell asleep. It was a great but long day.
Sweet girls playing, excited to be on our trip

Be Our Guest, be our guest, but our service to the test, try the grey stuff it’s delicious, don’t believe me ask the dishes …
The decor was impressive, the food not as much, think our girls were just sad Belle and the beast were not there to greet their guest. Hopefully we can go back one time for dinner if the characters are there

Wait time for Buzz Light year was longer than we expected, we had a fast pass

Jungle Cruise, girls liked seeing and hearing the story

Watching a show at the castle – Leia said this was her favorite thing after we left

The girls had fun using the light things Mimi bought them in December in the dark tunnels on the People Mover ride

Ivy fought going night night on the way to visit our family

Sleep won out though and both girls rested a short time to see everyone at Gigi’s when we arrived

Looks like everyone had a wonderful time! So glad the girls did so well too. Love, Aunt Joy
