Friday we headed to PTC to visit Grandpa, Deedee, uncle Diego, aunt Kelly, and of course cousins Adrian and Alicia. The girls were excited to get there and start playing. Of course, sweet little Ivy had to take a nap not long after arriving to remain in her sweet state. Leia got to rest in Grandpa and Deedee’s bed and watch a movie but that was really to have energy to play later with big, cousin Adrian who started school that day. Everyone enjoyed the evening together enjoying a yummy dinner Grandpa and Deedee cooked, shooting fireworks, and simply getting to play. It is great seeing how play dough or glitters can entertain kids for hours.
Craft time … Leia loves the craft time at Deedee’s!

Picking flowers and fireworks are so fun

Saturday, we all hung around the house most of the day playing and relaxing. Deedee and Lisa fixed the girls dresses that needed mending. When the Requena-Comfort clan arrived, everyone headed to the pool (Ivy was late since she was napping then Adrian and Alicia left early for naps). The girls had a blast going down the water slide! That evening Deedee cooked-in again so the kids could have more play time and as a special treat Leia and Adrian got to have a spend the night party. They did great and had a blast so we will definitely have to do that again.
Sunday, Daddy and Grandpa left to play golf while the girls stayed a little longer to play but we had to leave that morning to get back to Birmingham for cousin Ava’s birthday party. It is an unusual event for one of our girls to sleep in the car but both of them fell asleep about 30 minutes on the trip home. Ivy had the best time at the party! Leia, Katie, and Sara enjoyed it but Ivy LOVED it! She spent more time in the water than any other kid at the party. Afterwards, all the girls needed a little more rest and while “resting” Leia’s cousins mentioned they were spending the night with Mimi so Leia asked if she could too. Awesome Mimi said sure so she had 4 munchkins spending the night and next day with her.

Had to get pictures since this RARELY happens!

Fun at Ava’s 2nd birthday party
Leis got in because sissy would not get out

Leia was thrilled she was spending the day with Mimi and her cousins instead of in school. Mommy was grateful she was able to go in on time (earlier than daycare opens) so she could get off before 4. Plus, knowing the girls are having a blast makes the work day better. Thank you Mimi for keeping our princesses and letting them spend the day together before Sara starts big school next week.
You never know what kind of fun the girls are going to get into at Mimi’s!

I sent one response….here’s another. My Grandpaw told me it was okay to skip school and go the the Race Track with him. He said it would allow the other kids a chance to ketch-up up with me!
