Mother’s Day is special as I get to celebrate my momma and the gift of being a mother! I am blessed to have the best mom and mother-in-love ever! Chris started my day off great by cooking a big yummy breakfast while the girls gave me hugs and kisses. We were ready to leave for church early and ran by Walmart for the girls to pick me out a treat. Leia choose a sleeping beauty carriage and Ivy got me a baby doll; I’m sharing with them. All the mommies at church were honored and got a white rose. We snuck out of church early to head to my mommas for lunch and a little family time. Must say the best gift today was spending time with loved ones and getting to love on my momma. We should not just chose one day out of the year to honor someone who means so much to us. My heart goes out to those more than ever before that are unable to spend the day with their mom or those mothers who have lost a child. Treasure the time you have with each person you love everyday since you never know when you will run out of time with them. I was more grateful to spend mothers day with my mom and hug on my kids than any Mother’s Day before. I am so honored to be Leia and Ivy’s mommy! Thank you God for this gift of motherhood and giving me the best example through my mom of the kind of mother (and wife) I want to be!
