Clifford the Dog at McWane

Tuesday, Leia woke up declaring she wanted to go to McWane. After everyone got up and ready it was time to go to meet cousins Sara and Katie at Mcwane. On the way, momma realized Leia thought we were going to play with Dora the Explorer. She was a little disappointed when she found out Dora had packed up to go explore another city. However, McWane had another visitor, Clifford the Dog there to play. She got excited a dog would be there and said she could hold her cousins hands since their scared off dogs and she’s not. (No, she hasn’t read the book and thought mom meant a real dog would be there). Luckily, she was so excited about all the activities she cheered up and got busy playing. Ivy was in the middle of it too. This was the first time Ivy had been to McWane since she’s found her freedom off momma’s hip and on her feet. She practiced perfecting her walking skills all morning and played like she was her sister’s size. It was nice seeing our girls interact so much. The morning play time was followed up with lunch with Mimi. The girls are always excited to go to Mimi and Papa’s office. They only have to be reminded a few times that inside voices are required. Luckily, they are in with the owners so they are not asked to leave and even get to leave with snacks from the vending machines 😉

Ivy loves opening and closing doors so she enjoyed the reading room door
