Mid-week Fun

Tuesday, Lisa thought the girls needed to get out of the house a little while for a fun outing since we have been staying around the house quite a bit with all the work going on in the yard. Since mommy could not understand where Ivy was saying let’s go, Leia chose between the carousal, McWane, or a park. The girls chose carousal so mommy asked Mimi if she wanted to join us. It is not often we get to see Mimi during the work week all to ourselves. We all enjoyed a nice little break, a couple rides, lunch, and grabbed a couple things we needed in the area before it was getting very close to nap time for our baby princess.

Wednesday, the girls had to stay home since the fence company was supposed to be coming to install our new fence. Mommy is hoping it will at least deter a few of the deer from eating our new plant (yes, we know they can jump a fence but we can hope). Our back yard was rarely used prior to our yard makeover since it looked so unappealing and just stressed Lisa out looking at all the work that needed to be done. Since our yard makeover is almost complete the backyard looks so inviting. We have spent more time on the porch than ever and had to get out and enjoy the yard; we did stay off the grass except for running to the play area to let it finish rooting like we were told too. The girls had a blast swinging, see-sawing, and sliding on their little play set before we started running along the paths and playing on a couple of the larger rocks. (Leia said she and sister are going to ask Santa for a BIG play set). Big or little play set, it was so nice being able to get out in our yard and enjoy it. We can’t wait to have friends and family over to roast marshmallows and play outside now.
