Sweet little Ivy turned one on Sunday. It is hard to believe it has been a year since she made her debut. We thought Leia’s first year was fast but Ivy’s seemed twice as quick (maybe each child makes time seem faster). We celebrated her special day with family and a few friends at our house with a low key party. Mommy and daddy were smart this year and catered it so we both could enjoy ourselves instead of cooking in the kitchen or grilling out back. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and Ivy got tons of goodies. Thank you everyone for coming out to celebrate with us.

We went into Ivy’s room singing Happy Birthday to our little one year old

Mommy tried to get Ivy interested in opening presents as soon as we went downstairs

She was more interested in getting towards the kitchen to eat so sitting at the bar with Gigi was perfect

Then we got ready to celebrate Ivy’s big day with family and friends

Everyone did some crafts before lunch

Of course it was cake time after lunch

Ivy was very clean getting into her cake

Then it was play time to run off the sugar

Ivy went to sleep not long after cake so she when she woke she got to dig into her loot

When Leia woke up she volunteered to help open presents

 But after a couple they wanted to play

So the girls are opening one present a day to stretch Ivy’s birthday out
