I realized I am blessed to be able to stay home part time with our beautiful girls! When I’m home with the girls I try to get house work done while the girls nap so on weekends and/or evenings we have more enjoyable family time rather than doing house work. Sometimes I feel guilty if I lay down to rest or put my feet up while girls nap. However, since Ivy arrived I’ve found a guilt-free way to rest during the day on days she won’t sleep alone. Not to say I don’t get frustrated when she wants to be held ALL day and I can’t get anything done at all but I prayed for a snuggle bug and our Lord blessed be with a sweet one. Also remembering, there will be a time I’ll long for her in my arms while she will want to be off exploring the world makes me appreciate snuggling even more.
