Leia

Valentine

Chris and I were blessed this year with two little valentines. We sure enjoyed the last couple with Miss Leia so this year was even sweeter with the addition of Ivy. Mommy was happy she was off work to celebrate with our little Valentine’s all day. Leia started the day with heart shaped cinnamon rolls (forgot to get pictures). Mommy went ahead and let the girls have their Valentine Lions (saved the other gifts for when daddy was with us). Ivy laughed every time it went off when it was laying on her belly.  Leia was not allow her picture to taken before then we headed out the door to help cupid out.

Our first stop for cupid was to daddy’s office. We were not sure if he would be home before the girls went to bed that evening but we did not want the girls to miss seeing him a day set aside for love. Mommy brought daddy his gift from his 3 valentine’s and a coffee. Leia also got to open hers from daddy and mommy too before we headed to our next stop.

Leia and Ivy were excited to see Mimi and Papa and tell them Happy Valentine. They had given us all our valentine gifts over the weekend but we decided to wait to give them their card on valentine so we could also give them hugs and kisses. Leia showed them her valentine gift and helped Mimi give other ladies in her building too. We had to mail Grandpa and Deedee’s since we couldn’t make it over to their house on Valentines instead of hand delivering it.

Leia also had a Valentine picnic at school. Mommy, Leia, and Ivy took lots of yummy stuff to enjoy on our picnic blanket with Leia’s school friends and their parents. Uncle Mark dropped by to say hi too when we were packing up to head to Sara and Katie’s class. Leia enjoyed story time with Sara and a cupcake with Katie at their parties. I love the fact my girls go to school with their cousins and get to see them so frequently. We also dropped by Ivy’s class room and gave her teachers a Valentine.

Katie’s class had an extra cupcake they shared and Katie helped open it for Leia before she ate her own

Chris got to come home on time and fixed his girls customized dinners to each of our liking. Ivy got mommy’s milk. Leia got Spaghetti O’s with meatballs. Mommy and daddy got lobster, steak, and lamb with sides (Leia got some of mommy and daddy’s goodies too). We enjoyed our family time that evening and our Valentine together in a home filled with love.

Happy (first) Valentine Ivy!
