Our first niece turned 4! Personally, I cannot believe it has been four years since God blessed our family with her. What a fabulous four years it has been! We hope you had a great birthday Sara-bear!

Ivy, Leia, and Lisa got to go over to Sara’s house her birthday morning to take her present and play a little before the birthday girl decided we should go to the park. Sara was so sweet letting her sister and Leia help open her present too. What a great time the girls had too! It will be even more fun next year when Ivy is running too.
Hey Leia; Happy Birthday Sara!

Mimi had dropped by before work to deliver a gift to the birthday girl

Sara let Katie help her open her gift

Leia was too busy playing to help

But when Sara shared her gum balls, Leia was right there

Four princesses 🙂

Fun at the park

Sara had decided she wanted to go to Mimi and Papa’s office for lunch. In the typical Mimi (awesome mom) fashion she had turned the conference room into a party room. Everyone enjoyed lunch and birthday cake before Sara got to open more presents. Of course, Mimi did not leave the other 3 girls out; each of the other girls got one present too. (I remember growing up and always getting a present on my sister’s birthday; think that is a tradition we may carry on with our girls).

Of course Mimi did not leave any of her grand-girls out
Each of them got a little something

Ivy had fun playing with the paper

Lunch time

Of course there was cake too

Sara’s birthday celebration did not end on her birthday since her party was the following Saturday at Premiere Gymnastics where Sara goes to release energy each week. Leia had a blast! (All the other kids seemed to as well). As soon as Leia gets old enough she will be going too. There were roughly 21 kids there running on the vault, jumping on the jumpoline, swinging on the rings, flipping over bars, walking on the balance beam, or just running in circles on the mat. Of course there were yummy cupcakes, brownies, and ice-cream too; Sara requested cupcakes with green icing (her aunt and uncles favorite color). All the kids tried handing/helping Sara open gifts after cake time (mass chaos) but funny to watch. After the party, our family went to eat dinner then the 3 older girls had a spend-the-night party with Mimi and Papa.

Before cake everyone worked up an appetite
First stop, balance beam

Then iit was time to climb on anything we could find

Time to jump-jump
Everyone had to wait their turn

Sweet Katie took time out to love on Ivy

But Ivy didn’t last long cause she was worn out from all the playing

Not Leia time for the rings and bars

Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Sara in the parachute
