Lisa was so excited to have all the rooms in our house filled for a night. When buying a house and we saw how much bigger it was we looked forward to being able to house Grandpa, Deedee, Kelly, Diego, and the kids so everyone could comfortable visit. Well over the weekend everyone (minus Diego who was in Spain saying good bye to his beloved grandmother) came over to visit. Grandpa, Deedee, and Adrian came over on Friday so Leia could take them to a science center we have in town while Kelly could get some stuff around the house completed. The kids had a great time at McWane! Best part we all got in for free under our membership. Leia and Adrian climbed on jungle gym, saw an octopus and other aquatic animals (Adrian petted a shark), played in the water table, popped big bubbles, and explored some other science stuff. Despite the fact Grandpa and Deedee treated everyone to lunch at the science center so the kids could play a little longer, we still did not make it around the whole museum before it was time to head home to take naps. Adrian will have to go again with us soon. The rest of the day the kids played together, grandpa chased them while they ran to Deedee to be saved, and Ivy excitedly watched (she and Alicia will be in the middle of it soon).

Saturday, the guys went to play golf and Kelly came in early. Adrian and Leia were outside with Deedee when Kelly arrived. Ivy and Alicia just looked at each other and occasional would reach for the others hand throughout the day; they were cute to watch (I am sure they will be best of friends growing up especially since they are so close in age). Kelly and Lisa packed a picnic lunch so everyone could go to the park since it was such a nice day. Adrian and Leia played on the space ship (a swing), chased each other, and slid down slides having a ball together and running their selves ragged. Luckily they took a great nap since that evening cousins Sara and Katie, Stacy, Mark, Mimi, and Papa all came over for dinner and play time. The four kids seemed to have fun and ate great that evening. They rode Adrian’s bike before dark , when it got dark Mimi gave them glow sticks she brought which were a hit, played hid-n-seek from grandpa, the toy room looked like a tornado had came through it (that is what it is for though J). We loved getting everyone together for an evening of fun!

Sunday, we hung around the house to play until mid morning before heading to the park a little while before Kelly headed to the airport to pick up her love of her life, Diego. Lisa had been talking about trying a new park that is on the way to Atlanta one day so this was the perfect opportunity so Kelly would not have to back track. The park was awesome, a hidden treasure near our house. There were NINE slides, tons of swings (at our other park you normally have to wait on a swing), a merry-go-round (haven’t seen one of those at a park in a while), rocks to climb on, toys to ride, … we will have to go to this park more frequently since it was less crowded since it is a new park and a lot of people do not know about it (let’s see how long that lasts). After Adrian and Alicia had to leave to go pick up their daddy, Leia recruited mommy to play with her. It is so much fun re-living a childhood with our baby girls!
