Week 8 Summer 2021: Created For a Purpose, spend the night fun,

Monday morning, Ivy was excited to start playing with Olivia as soon as they woke while Leia had a few minutes to chill while momma cooked breakfast. We were out the door as soon as breakfast was over to take Olivia home and the girls to Created for a Purpose camp (CFAP). Leia did not seem to really want to go and was quite vocal about it but when we signed up she said yes and  when they went preciously had said she wanted to go again so it had been paid in full and momma pulled rank to say you are going all week. On the way home from drop off, uncle Mark texted they were out of power so they came over to hang out and for Mark to work for the day too. We enjoyed lunch together and Chris picked up the girls on his way home from work. The 4 little monkeys enjoyed some time together while Lisa, Chris, and Mark all worked. Mimi came to take the girlies to get a cookie and Sara/Katie back to her house since both their parents had to go into the office on Tuesday. The Comfort clan hung out at home the rest of the evening while the storms and rain poured thankful we lived at a high elevation as lower levels were drowning.

Morning fun

Mimi took everyone to Crumbl

Fun evening with our girls practicing vision therapy and playing … love the easy entertainment nights

Tuesday morning, the girls skipped horse camp since it would be muddy and they would not have time to get a shower between it and CFAP. This morning both seemed happier to go since they both said they had a good time the day before. We picked up AlexAnn and headed to camp. Everyone enjoyed chatting on the way while mom was on a conference call. Mrs Holly picked them up that afternoon and they went to play with AlexAnn for the afternoon until she went to gymnastics. That evening we met the Talley’s at Habeneros for dinner and the girlies talked us into spend the night fun so Alex came over after she got home from gymnastics for more girl time.

Morning snuggles since camp was later than horses

Spend the night fun

Wednesday morning, Leia and Lisa had to wake Ivy and Alex up just in time to eat the cinnamon rolls and head to camp. They were full of chatter again but Lisa was not on a conference call this time so it was slightly more enjoyable. That afternoon they got to go to AlexAnn’s again to play until Alex needed to get ready for gymnastics. When Lisa finished her work day they all headed to Mimi’s to swim and play since aunt Stacy and the girls were there.

Day was packed with fun but this was the only picture

Thursday, Chris took the girls to CFAP and Lisa picked up. They of course were starving afterwards since they are a little picky and opted not to eat again. We headed to Chickfila for a lupper then back to the house. This time AlexAnn came to our house to hangout and play until she had to go to gymnastics. Aunt Stacy and Sara came over that afternoon so Sara could go to Ivy’s dive meet to cheer with us. Unfortunately, there was a thunder and lightening delay so it took a little longer than we expected but it was fun getting to watch our girl do her thing and she enjoyed playing with her friend Olivia while she waited. After a great performance Ivy got to stay with them while Chris went with Leia to grab dinner and Lisa took Sara home. Lisa got to stay and hear about the ambassadors team building then headed home to snuggle up with the girlies and wind down for the evening.

Dive competition; glad Sara came to see Ivy do her thing too

Great performance and busy day that wore our baby girl out

Friday morning, momma went to workout so Leia cooked breakfast then woke up Ivy to get ready for CFAP. Mrs Holly picked them up and off they went. Daddy got to take a little break from work and his back felt okay so we got to go for a lunch date for sushi before he headed back to work. Mimi, Sara, and Katie all came by and we headed to watch our girls perform in the closing ceremony for CAFP and see their art work they did all week. It was fun watching them and they did a great job on the crafts. Afterwards, we took the 4 girlies to Gigi’s for a little back to school shopping. We got home a little before the rain hit and Mimi/Rhoads girls were got in front of it to get back to Gardendale. Our little family chilled out at home that evening, enjoyed a family tea party, and movie night with early bed time since the girls had early horse riding Saturday.

Enjoyed watching the girls perform then show us their

Family style

Saturday morning we all were up by 6:30 getting the girls ready for their horse lesson. Chris said he would take them so momma got to go back to bed and have a chill morning. The girls were excited to tell us about a new pony the ranch got, named BlackJack. Ivy did math with Deedee then momma took the girls to Mimi’s for the afternoon/evening for swimming fun. Of course when we arrived the girls took off the basement to play with cousins while mom and Mimi cooked lupper.  After we ate we chilled out by the pool while Leia, Ivy and Katie swam. Once the sun went down momma joined them for a night swim. We played orea, silent, marco-polo or polo locoIt, basketball and swam laps. It was a late night but packed with fun!

Pony fun then daddy crashed … Ivy took a picture of daddy sleeping that she thought this picture was hilarious but mommy would not let her put it on the blog without his approval

Enjoying a girls lunch

Fun time in pool

Sunday we woke up and the girls came in to tell us Happy Anniversary as they climbed in bed to snuggle with us. We exchanged cards and enjoyed a sweet family breakfast together. We relaxed watching Heartland until Grandpa and Deedee arrived. The ladies all got in the hot-tub for a little bit. We all tried going bowling but they were closed so ventured to Micheals to get PomPom makers the girls had been asking for so we could do a little crafting. Lisa took the girls to aunt Stacy’s house to hang out while the adults went to Perry’s for our anniversary dinner. We picked up the girls on the way home to watch the Olympics gymnastics that evening.

The girls showed Grandpa and Deedee one of their dances from camp last week

Fun time crafitng

Deedee did a little fractions with Ivy before dinner. When we went to pick up the girls we asked Sara to take a picture so Ivy photo bombed

Anniversary picture for this year, lucky #13 for Chris/Lisa and #51 for Grandpa/Deedee
