Mothers Day is a day set just aside to honor mom’s. I am so honored to be Leia and Ivy’s momma. We spent the day with family, relaxing, and enjoying sweet time together. Lisa woke up super early (3am) and had a couple cups of coffee before Leia joined in watching Hallmarks at 5:45. Ivy got up a hour or so later and joined us snuggling on the couch. Chris soon joined and picked up breakfast. It is funny how a mom just want’s the kids to enjoy the day too so Lisa let them pick breakfast; Ivy’s pick Waffle House and Leia’s pick sausage biscuit. We hung out at home the rest of the morning and went on a walk before heading to see Mimi.  

Stacy and Sara had spent the night with Mimi since Katie had a soccer tournament all weekend so Mimi woke up with one of her daughter’s. We got a few photo op, knowing how blessed we are to spend the day with our mom who helped make us into the mothers we are today. We cooked together, laughed, watched the girls swim, the boys grilled, and enjoyed the afternoon before heading home for to get ready for the week ahead. 

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the gorgeous women that pour themselves into others. God blessed this world with many amazing women who make this world a better place.
