The day after a happy celebration on the day we became parents the day that is a joyous celebration fro Papa entering Heaven comes too. It is a joyous day because Papa is in paradise since he knew Jesus as his Savior; however it is also a sober day too since WE MISS PAPA ON EARTH with us. We can only imagine what he would have said to the life events that have happened the last 8 years, the relationships he would have with each grand-daughter, or how life would be different if he was here. The questions and what if’s are asked in vain as we really have no answers. Lisa and Stacy went to Mimi’s for a little bit that afternoon to visit. It is nice to reminisce together. We wish our girls had more real memories of him but these blog books Chris makes gives them glances of their Papa. Stacy headed home early that afternoon but Lisa stayed to have dinner and a little more time with Mimi. Time is a gift and a thief … use ever minute wisely, be present when you are with those you love, forgive quickly, laugh together, love generously, and appreciate the time you get with those you love since you never know when it will be the last time you have the opportunity to hug their neck, tell them you love them, or hear their laugh.
