Friday was a fun day! The kids and Lisa were all up in the 6 o’clock hour. We were able to enjoy a big country breakfast once everyone was awake together. The ladies enjoyed the fire column outside with a good cup of coffee and sweet fellowship after breakfast while the kids jumped on the trampoline and played outside. Mommy loved all the time the kids spent in the backyard playing! Grandpa and Deedee took the kids to play basketball next to a park and walk around in a creak while Lisa and Kelly went for a walk. Once everyone got back to the house we warmed up leftovers for lunch then had little more time for the kids to play. Before we knew it the time had come for the Requena-Comfort clan to head home. Thankful for the sweet time with Kelly and the kids.
Friday afternoon and Saturday were both low key days. Deedee did crafts with our girls so they could make their teachers a wine or coffee cup for Christmas. Friday evening we started the 1,000 piece puzzle mimi gave us and finished it Saturday evening. Saturday we cheered AL to a victory and decorated Mimi’s tree. We all were able to relax, veg in front of the TV a little bit, played with the hula hoops, eat way too much, and simply enjoyed just being and having precious time together. Sunday morning, Grandpa picked up his traditional going home breakfast …. donuts. We enjoyed breakfast and then they headed home and we had a veg day at home as rain and chilly weather rolled into our area. We hung around the house for the most part Sunday. Neighbors came to play a couple Catan games, we went to Habeneros for dinner together, and then we all went back to our own homes to get ready for school to resume Monday since the school/work break was sadly over but he count down to Christmas break has begun.
Girls fixing their plates for the Friday morning country breakfast … that breakfast was yummy!

These kids had fun giving Grandpa a makeover …. the girls have lots to learn before they are allowed to do their own makeup!

Deedee brought her craft paints for the girls to make their teachers a Christmas gift

Saturday the boys played golf while the ladies hung out at the house and Deedee tutored Sara in math. We headed to Mimi’s to decorate the tree before cheering AL to victory over Auburn. Mimi had gotten ginger bread houses for the girls to decorate so they started their Christmas cheer
