Leia hit a milestone Friday. She went up and slid down the plaything at Chickfila all by herself. This is just another sign our baby girl is not a baby anymore; she is a toddler. It was interesting to see the progression as she built up the courage to go to the top by herself and slide down. Leia and mommy got there slightly before Mimi, Sara and Katie so we went in to play and she kept watching other kids climb up from the play land below and started investigating. She would start to climb up then turn to make sure mommy was still there and climb back down. A sweet little boy offered to help her but she was a little hesitate. She made it half way up by the time her cousins showed up. Mommy told her she could come back after she ate to play so she happily went to eat. After lunch her cousins went in there with her. Sara was up and down the slide as quick as possible. After watching Sara do it Leia got braver and headed straight to the top to slide. She was so proud of herself and had a blast! By the time mommy got out the camera to start snapping pictures her cousin Sara wanted to slide together so the pictures show Sara coming down with her but she did it by herself several times.
