27 OctPumpkin Patch 2018

Mommy had asked the girls a couple times about going to a pumpkin patch but they both declined until their friends Cole and Ivy Bailey asked them to go then they were all in for a little fun, fall activity. We left daddy home working on school and loaded up with our friends. We headed to a new place under of what to expect but it turned out to be a awesome pumpkin patch, Griffin Farms. It was $10 to get in and included a pumpkin for everyone and most all the activities (only exception was the pony ride). We got the most bang for our buck at this patch. It’ll be our patch to visit next year if we can talk the girls into it again. We ended up staying for a little over 4 hours and if it were not starting to get a little too chilly with the sun going down we may have stayed even longer. However, we did enjoy our family game night in that evening since Chris had turned in the assignment he needed too.

Girls insisted the first stop be the pony ride.

Climbing on hay and jumping from the top is always fun
Mommy and Mrs Kala insisted on a photo op as we passed

Who does not love swinging as high as a bird

The zip line was awesome! Our Ivy refused to go but the other three had fun. It was 2.5 or 3 times the length of Mimi’s and the kids got to do it as many times as they wanted included in the armband price.
More pony rides on a tire pony this time

Ivy can find a balance beam and/or bars if they can be found
Another fun photo op while sliding

Always fun getting lost and finding your way through a good ole corn maze
Third graders matching wits while the little sisters jumped in bouncy houses

The kids turned into hamsters for a little bit in the human hamster wheels
The kids had fun feeding the animals

Lassoing wooden horses

We discovered the corn when we went to a restroom break

Mrs Kala said ya’ll should bury Mrs Lisa so as to not be a spoiled sport …

Last stop at this fair was to get our pumpkins so we didn’t have to carry them around

Pumpkins got and all the fun we could have was had time to head home

Ending the night with a little family game time playing battleship 🙂
