It finally snowed in Alabama. Grant it we’ve had quite a bit of ‘winter weather’ this year but that was icy, slush; not something we could play in. Plus, Leia was not 100% then. Today the pretty, white powder was on the ground; perfect for playing and Leia was ready to go outside.

Unfortunately, we were not aware that school would be delayed until after everyone had gotten up early. Mom had already arrived at her office before she got a phone call and email from Leia’s school letting her know there was no early care this morning. She was not happy about wasting an hour and twenty minutes driving this morning or the gas to get to work only to turn around! But it was fun to get to play with Leia in the snow.

Leia and mommy stayed out for about 20 minutes then Leia got a little cold and started fussing so we headed back in to warm up. Too bad daddy was out of town or he could have played with us. We love and miss you bunches, Chris! Hope you enjoy the pictures of your girls. Thanks Mimi, for hanging around a few extra minutes to get pictures. Leia walked around the corner to find you after you left and kept calling your name. She loves you bunches and so do I!
