Ivy has to use two hands now when she shows someone how old is …. she’s SIX. So thankful for her sweet and silly spirit, lively personality, passion for life, and excitement to spread joy to everyone around her. She had a great day! She woke up before 6am to start her day and went to bed around 10pm just so she could celebrate as long as possible. She got to pick everything she wanted to do on her special day too. She started it with morning snuggles followed by opening presents when she woke up daddy and sending him to get donuts to accompany her pancakes for breakfast. We all played then mommy and Ivy ran to aunt Stacy’s to get a barbie for her cake since we could not find the girlies. She wanted to stay home for lunch and opted for more chocolate chip pancakes before mommy and Ivy went outside to throw the ball since she was ready for her party to start and we needed something fun to do to pass the time. Finally, it was time to leave for her gymnastics party. She loved it! They are so structured at gymnastics but at her party she got to do whatever, whenever she wanted too. She enjoyed getting pictures with all her friends at the party too and was really excited to open up her presents there instead of at home like we do most the time. Mimi and Sara came back to our house then we met Katie, Mark and Stacy for a birthday dinner after the soccer star got finished with her first competitive soccer tournament. One other thing Ivy really wanted to do on her birthday was see our 2 year old neighbor, Max. After dinner we walked down to their house to watch football and let the girls play with Max and AlexAnn. We stayed later than we planned but the kids were having a great time and Ivy was soaking up every minute of her special day.
Our birthday girls was excited and got up before six to start her birthday celebrations

The early raising did give us the opportunity for sweet morning snuggles before she went to wake up her daddy

As soon as daddy was up she was ready to open her presents!

She is growing fast. The crutches are just for play; praying we never really need them

Ivy’s breakfast pick …. pancakes and donuts (Leia really wanted donuts)

Birthday party fun!!!
