Two little monkeys came and hopped up on the bed as mommy was finishing to get ready for work Tuesday not wanting to go to camp and made mommy want to stay home. thankfully, Mimi had called earlier that morning and asked if they would want to chill out with her for the day so they did not have to go to camp. Mimi came over as we were about to have breakfast and let them chill out here until they were ready to leave. Katie joined in on their outing too. She took them to the mall to look at Justice (one of their favorite things to do now), lego shop, Walmart, and wherever else they wanted to go. They were back home by the time Lisa arrived then Mimi and Lisa listened to the water fountain on the porch and visited a little bit too before Mimi left. That evening we had a family dinner then Chris and Lisa watched the girls play outside.

The girls were able to chill out Thursday morning at home too then we went to meet Mimi for lunch since Lisa had to go into work for a meeting that afternoon. Mimi ended up taking the girls to buy shoes then to Chuckecheese, where a kid can be a kid. Leia wanted to come back home to play a little bit before gymnastics and our busy afternoon began. Lisa picked up the girls from gymnastics to head to Ivy’s Kindergarten social at the park. She got to meet a few kids then we headed to the family night at Shades Mountain Camp. It was a great event! They served hamburgers and hotdogs then the kids got to play on the water inflatables and bounces houses.

The last Friday before school began and Chris was off with us (yeah!). We had to stay home that morning to have the new garage door openers installed but it turned out well since Leia requested a home day and the garage doors are so much quieter and does not wake you when they go up or down. The girls were being so so sweet playing together and letting mommy and daddy join in on some of their games! These are the days that we miss during the school year; days when the girls play and we get to chill without a schedule or things to do. During the school year we cram everything into the weekends and theres just not many relaxing family days like today without scheduling it. Savoring this day so there were few pictures just sweet time with our loves before daddy went out of town for work and we snuck away for a girls beach trip before school began.
