Both girls did not fall asleep till late Christmas Eve and sweet Leia woke through out the night several times. She told me she heard a big clank one time and that is what woke her up. Finally about 5 in the morning Lisa and Leia got up to go into the den to snuggle on the couch and watch TV till she work her sister and daddy up a few minutes after 6. She was so excited! Santa brought stockings for all and the girls gymnastic mates, pictures of the North Pole, and elf cup for Ivy and spray water bottle fan for Leia. After we opened our gifts and put on clothes we headed to Mimi’s for Christmas brunch then opened gifts there. The walkie talkies were hits and the youngest 3 girls were entertained while Sara helped the adults open gifts. After we opened all the wrapped gifts the girls went on a scavenger hunt for their last one. The afternoon was full of R&R and playtime before we dinner/lunch was served. Late that afternoon we went home. The girls played with their new toys, Chris, Grandpa and Deedee watched football, and Lisa started the de-dorcoration. All the Dobbs girls start de-decoration Christmas night; Mimi taught us growing up it is always nice to wake up the day after Christmas with less clutter in the house ;). We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, got to spend time with loved ones, and remembers the true reason  for the season. 

Santa left no cookies or milk but left the bible opened for us to read about the true meaning of Christmas before the craziness began

Sweet Leia woke up early to put coal in daddy’s stocking then mommy and Leia snuggled waiting for time to pass to wake up the rest of the house. We started waking others up a few minutes after six o’clock

This year we took a video of Santa but he saw the camera and knocked it over. Leia told us she heard him knock over the camera and that is what woke her up

Then the girls started opening gifts and when Chris finished opening his stocking he used it as a Jet’s hat since Mark had on his Dolphin santa hat

Thank you Mimi for the yummy meals, hosting us all for Christmas, and making so many Christmas traditions for our family. 
 
The phone laid on the table much of the day as we had chilled and had a PJ, relaxing kind of Christmas Day
