Grandpa and Deedee came to visit for the weekend to go to Leia’s recital and Katie’s birthday party. It was a weekend full of laughs! First laugh was not long after they arrived, Deedee was giving Leia a sewing lesson and the girls decided to stuff grandpa. These moments are placed in a special treasure box in my heart hearing the joyful, laughter of our girls.

Leia had rehearsal Friday afternoon for her recital so Deedee hung out with Ivy while the boys went golfing. Leia and Ivy’s school had a big water slide that afternoon that they both wanted to go too. Deedee took Ivy so she would not miss it. Luckily Leia got done with rehearsal just in time to join her friends at the slide. Although there was not padding under it and it hurt their bottoms and backs when they slide so after one or two times we called it a night and came home for dinner and to see our boys but the girls did not miss out on the fun since Deedee brought Ivy and Leia’s swim suit.
 
Fun time at Katie’s 7th birthday party. Grandpa was a hit getting in swimming and Ivy thought it was hilarious pushing him in the pool. Sweet Leia checked out after people she did not know arrived but everyone seemed to have a great time. Happy birthday sweet Katie! 

Leia did AMAZING at her dance recital! So blessed to have so many people come watch and support our little dancer this weekend. She enjoyed the attention and performing.
