Saturday before Easter we went to Mimi’s to dye Easter eggs with Sara and Katie. Of course, Stacy and Lisa dyed one too. It is a fun tradition to dye the day before Easter together; love special little traditions. The girls also practiced hunting eggs since the Easter Sunday predicted rain. That evening we all spent the night with Mimi so we could help with Easter lunch prep and getting Nana to the house. It was a wonderful day with the family celebrating Jesus Christ conquering death and creating a new covenant. Thankful we do not live under the old covenant law and the promise today brings to all those who believe in Jesus Christ. Luke 24:6 “He is not here, he has risen”.
