Lisa’s birthday fell on a Thursday this year. Most years she takes off on her birthday but since Leia had to go to school and everyone else had to work she decided to work too. Co-workers decorated her office and helped her celebrate but as soon as the work day ended she was itching to get home. Chris took the afternoon off, got the girls early and decorated the house. Deedee and Grandpa came in town and they all went to meet Mimi, Al, Stacy, Mark, Sara and Katie for dinner at Texas De Brazil. It was great celebrating with family that evening and getting to spend part of the special day with them

That weekend Deedee and Grandpa stayed with us. The guys got to play golf, Leia got checked out of school early Friday so all the girls could play. Ivy went to a birthday party for her classmate while Leia had a date with Deedee. Then Saturday we all went to the movies that morning, played during the afternoon, and the adults went on a double date to Gina Marcos. Sunday we went to church then visited Mimi, Nana and the Rhoads. It was a nice weekend enjoying time with family family and simply getting to be together; exactly what Lisa wanted for her birthday time together.
The girls had a great time with Deedee all weekend. They also got to share the ice-cream cake they saved from daddy’s birthday with her too. Happy girls

They also had a great time playing with Grandpa. Leia got a really good hiding place once and it took a little bit for Grandpa to find her, she thought it was cool and tried hiding in the same spot few more times. Ivy was right behind Grandpa in the search.

Ivy had so much fun at Caroline’s birthday party! It was a great turnout and the kids enjoyed getting to play while the adults visited. She still is a little fish in the water.

Date night with Grandpa and Deedee 🙂

Fun with cousins Sara and Katie at their house. Leia and Ivy loves going there to play. Always enjoy getting to watch these little monkeys together and see their big personalities develop.
