January flew by! There was so much going on, we tried to capture it in pictures but missed a bunch as we were just taking in the moments and enjoying life together. Life is a blessing and we are blessed to get to spend it together. Love spending time with our family and friends.
Ivy missed Leia on her first day back and asked her to hold her when she got home. Love watching them together!

Leia sets up the tea parties herself now. Ivy is not that far behind with sitting them up.

Mimi and Mr Al went to Chattanooga

Tea party …. we love tea parties! We have them regularly and often need to change clothes before they begin.

Sweet Ivy decided to do her hair and put lots of ‘product’ in it (or something sticky still not sure what it was) but the result ended in a bath and washing her hair a few times. Afterwards she put on one of mommy’s robes and said I’m just like you mommy. Love the joy this precious little one brings!

More snuggles …. just got to get the sister snuggles… this is a regular occurrence at least once a day, tackling the other for love. I pray they always love each other this much.

Mimi and Mr Al’s took a camping trip to Texas to see Jillian run an Ultra. She did amazing! Mimi and Mr Al said they enjoyed the trip

Girls entertained themselves playing beach and painting waiting on their cousins to arrive for playtime and dinner.

Of course they had a tea party when they arrived

Once again no pictures of the adults
Leia did talk aunt Stacy into letting Sara and Katie spend the night

Of course everyone got to pick what they wanted for breakfast

We did not even turn on the TV on Sunday morning the girls used their amazing imaginations, played dress up, and made up games. Loved Leia’s fairy outfit.
The sweet girls new way to enjoy movie night. Mommy and daddy were glad they decided snuggling was fun half way thru the movie.

Mommy was at the gym and Mrs Michelle came with Camille so we got a impromptu play date with Camille on MLK day

Sweet Ivy loves her big bear! Leia was all about the bunny and needed a picture of the bunny!

Daddy showed the girls how to do the spinner thing, he might had played with it if they’d let him 😉

Mommy came up with another craft to do while they waited for the paint to dry a little.

Little Ivy grabbed mommy’s phone and said lets do a selfie … funny selfie … glamor selfie … her a a few. Treasure these moments!

Daddy was at business dinner so the girls decided to play. Mommy remembered we had another spinner thing so it worked out great since neither had to wait. Oh what fun! Girls loved it even more cause mommy did all the clean up.

Tea-party fun. Leia set it up, popped the popcorn and did everything since mommy was not feeling good and daddy was not home.

Daddy teaching his girls how to juggle. They are doing it in PE at Leia’s school so since daddy knows how she is getting private lessons.

Waiting for snow. Unfortunately, we did not get enough to play in but the girls had fun watching for it and playing together. Great family night in with the weather cold and yucky outside.

The next morning these two warmed my heart snuggling, playing, and loving on each other. We are blessed to have two beautiful, sweet, smart girls.

Selfie time for mommy and Leia … Love them

Girls tea party just because we can … we need to tell daddy to join us

We spent one whole Saturday at home since the girls requested a home day. They played, we baked, and just enjoyed being together and doing nothing but want-to’s in PJs all day.
The girls wanted to ice the cakes they baked

She is her daddy’s child, he is watching Star Wars Rebels while she plays on phone

Leia made her friends at school a special 100 day of school treat

Made daddy and mommy laugh watching them ride like this again since they loved riding under blankets when they were younger.
Never to old to ride under a blanket … maybe daddy’s driving was scaring them 😉

Just couldn’t get close enough at dinner so they tried to share a chair. Love how close they are and how much they enjoy being together. Pray they always do!

Sunday evening there was a special dance. Girls got a front row seat with Tiffani

Leia pulled her own tooth by eating a apple. Ivy was so proud of big sister then said she didn’t want to eat a apple cause she was scared her tooth would fall out and she was scared to lose a tooth

Ivy got to go shopping with mommy and Mimi

Next day, she got her nails done with mommy, Mimi, and aunt Stacy … one on three attention. She may not like when she starts big girl school

Mommy took Ivy with a friend one morning to play at “Let’s Play”

Of course that afternoon we took big sister back even though it was unexpectedly warm and beautiful outside

Outside tea party enjoying the warmer January weather with our neighbor

The last weekend in January was a busy one; but so fun! Saturday we had two birthday parties and a work dinner gathering. Sunday we celebrated Sara’s real birthday, hanging out with the family.
Before the Saturday parties started plying at 6 o’clock in the morning. Girls favorite thing this week is zoo. They like to act like they are different animals so mommy took a quick picture of them acting like unicorns.

Sara’s party this year was at the ice skating rink. Ivy refused to put on skates so she watched. Leia started off on the wall but by the end was skating great around and around.

Ivy was invited to London’s 5th birthday party. Leia crashed the party ;). It was fun watching Ivy interact with her classmates and grab her sister when she needed a confidence boost. The girls had fun getting their face painted, balloon animals, playing, and enjoying snacks and cake

Can’t believe this little one is eight!
Happy Birthday Sara

It was fun riding bikes with the nice weather on Sara’s birthday. Sara got to pick out her new bike herself that Mimi bought her

Sweet Mimi got the cake Sara wanted for her real birthday

For Sara’s birthday dinner she wanted to go to Mexican and wear the big hat

It looks like you had a very busy month and a great one too!! Love, Aunt Joy
