Chris flew over to Atlanta on Deedee’s birthday and got to wish her a happy birthday in person. Leia had school so Lisa and the girls face timed her to say happy birthday then headed over after school on Friday to celebrate. We arrived while Chris and Grandpa was at golf so enjoyed dinner with Deedee, had a little bit of playtime, then headed to bed since Saturday we had a full day planned.
Saturday, the girls were excited to start Deedee’s birthday party so they woke early and start playing while they waited on Adrian and Alicia to arrive. While they were painting aunt Kelly called to say they just woke up and would be over to head to Rock Ranch about 10. As soon as they arrived at Grandpa and Deedee’s house we headed towards the ranch. Everyone had a great time! We got to ride ponies, ride a moo-moo train, jump on jumps, slide, play in corn, travel thru a corn maze, visit little town, and watch Leia and Adrian zip-line. After a day of walking and activities the girls were all tired, 2 out of 3 napped on way home; Adrian still had energy to spare. Grandpa and Chris picked up pizza for dinner to start give everyone a little more energy to continue celebrating. We enjoyed dinner, cake and ice-cream, let Deedee open her presents, played the carpet chase game, glow sticks, and walked around outside with the glow sticks before it was time to call it a night.
Sunday, Deedee played with the girls while Lisa studied for a test with a few breaks to see what they were up too. Chris and Grandpa golfed since it was the last day of the member-guest tournament. They came out victorious, winning their flight which was the A-flight. Congrats to our champs! Great weekend with family celebrating Deedee’s birthday, visiting, and golfing fun.
