Lisa, Stacy and Sheila took a little mother daughter trip down to The Grand Resort. We left on daddy’s birthday. It was a great trip to connect with two of my favorite ladies. Thankful we get uninterrupted mother-daughter time and we three became best friends as we grew into women and mothers. Pray that both I and Stacy will have just as strong of a bond with our daughters as they grow too. Thank you Chris and Mark for holding down the fork at home and giving us the opportunity to getaway a could days.
The night before they left a storm came thru and mom’s table was shattered. Chris knew if it was me that I would not relax on the trip so he went and cleaned up the glass on Mimi’s porch. He knows my love language and his action spoke to me … Thank you Chris for showing me love!
Our sweet husbands took the girls up to Papa’s grave to sing happy birthday and send him a balloon in heaven. Blessed to call them ours!

Chris’s new toy arrived right before our trip on Stacy’s birthday, he told her that was not her present 😉
