Ivy wanted to have a swim party again this year so we opted to do it the last weekend in August since you never know what the crazy weather in Alabama will do and when the pool temperature will not be bearable and need to be closed up. The party started with rain clouds overhead so we started praying it would go around us. Ivy got to play in the pool then when the rain started we decided to go ahead and have cookie cake, ice-cream, and treats before sweet Ivy asked to open presents (her party, her rules). Within a few minutes of her opening presents she was reaching for mommy to pick her up and we figured out she had a fever. She watched the rest of the party from mommy’s arms while her friends enjoyed he piñata and water balloons. Glad we did the cake and presents early so she enjoyed those before spiking a fever. We will have to play with our friends closer to her real birthday so she can enjoy their company more but nonetheless she said she had fun at her party and enjoyed being the center of attention for a little bit.

 Night before her party we went to Lisa’s work function at the Baron’s game. It was fun but sweet Ivy feel asleep, we should had known something was up then
