Chris’s three girls met him in PTC at Grandpa and Deedee’s house since he had been at a plant on the other side of Atlanta on Thursday afternoon. Girls were all super excited to see daddy; sure do miss him when he is out of town. We all enjoyed getting to see Grandpa, Deedee, and Gigi. The little girls got busy playing when they first arrived and were super excited Gigi got them a awesome purse as a surprise full of fun stuff (both girls have been carrying it around since arriving home). Ivy modeled the fun dresses Deedee made her for us; she looked like a princess in each of them. It was a great afternoon visiting, enjoying a yummy dinner, and watching our little princesses enjoy themselves. The girls were pumped to get to sleep in their room with two beds too. They’ve informed mommy we need to do that at our house too, however, mommy is not convinced since they were two of the last three to go to bed both nights we were there.

Friday, Chris and Grandpa met tio Diego and a friend to golf that morning while the girls played and painted with Deedee. Midday we went to pick up Adrian early from school for lunch and wish the big 7 year old a happy birthday. Leia and Ivy was excited to get to go into Adrian’s school to help check him out. He rode with us to lunch and the little monkeys all chatted away; they were very happy to get to see each other! A added bonus this trip was we got to visit with Diego and Pepita too; so nice to see them! Lunch was full of an abundance of fun with the kiddos and adults chatting. Adrian got a special happy birthday song and treat from the restaurant too. We headed back to Grandpa and Deedee’s house to get ready for the birthday boy’s dinner there stopping by to pick up a couple items and the cookie dough ice-cream cake he requested. It was the first time I have ever saw Adrian eat two treats in one day. All four monkeys were just as excited to see each other that evening as they were earlier in the day. Everyone enjoyed Adrian’s birthday dinner with yummy lobster and steak dinner before dessert. The kiddos played while adults visited, almost everyone got out to play soccer in the yard, then Lisa and Kelly did glow stick shapes with the kids that evening before it was bed time.

Saturday was a relaxing morning. The kids had a little down time just to play until mid morning when we got ready and headed to a skating rink with a fun play thing, arcade games, and laser tag. Ivy actually put on skates and tried it for a minute (better than on ice skates). Leia skated around 3 or 4 times with assistance. Roller skating is harder than ice skating! The three little girlies loved the play area. Ivy and Alicia chased each other around it laughing. Leia loved the rope swing and spent quite a bit of time on it. Adrian liked the arcade games the best. The kids started saying they were hungry so everyone got a little something to eat before playing some more. Grandpa, Deedee, and Gigi headed out to check on their new house and look at roofs for it. Then Kelly and Pepita took Alicia and Adrian to rest. Chris tried talking Leia into playing laser tag with him and she said she wanted too. She was all geared up then as the game started she abandoned her daddy. After a few minutes of trying to talk her into it and watching two little boys try to team up on Chris mommy grabbed the stuff and tried to go help daddy (there was only going to be 4 players total). Ivy and Leia needed to chase us around and be right with us so it may not had been that helpful but we tried and got to have a laugh together. Our girls were crashing too so we headed back for a little rest and down time at Grandpa and Deedee’s house. That evening we went to Kelly and Diego’s for dinner and play. It ended up being dinner and a show when the little girls put on a fantastic performance for us after dinner. It was a great time too! Enjoyed a yummy dinner, girls had fun playing with all their cousins fun toys, adults had a great time fellowshipping and playing with kids. Great few days visiting and we always love spending time with our family. Blessed to get to them all and the time we had together!

Sunday fun day at Leia and Katie’s soccer game. It was hot so we got a umbrella for shade. That afternoon we took a walk where Ivy proceeded to run the majority of the time (we may have a track star on our hands) then the girls enjoyed playing with our sweet Sierra that afternoon until it was time for baths and night-night.

So glad you had such a wonderful visit and also celebrating Adrian’s birthday too!
Love, Aunt Joy
