What a fun filled weekend. Saturday morning we got up and headed to Mimi’s for breakfast and to get tickets for the “Live with Characters” show. Chris opted to stay at Mimi’s to work on his app so it was girl time at the show. The girls seemed to really enjoy it. We got to see super heroes, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Dora the Explore, Simba and his friends from Lion King, most the princesses, and more. Of course Leia made sure we knew that Ariel was not there and Ivy wanted to see Alice and Wonderland, maybe next time they will be there too. We skipped getting pictures to hit the road to get to Grandpa and Deedee’s. It was great to see them, Alicia, Adrian, Kelly, and Diego. Kelly cooked a yummy chicken curry for dinner, we celebrated our birthdays, the girls had fun playing play do and kinetic sand in the basement, the men played soccer with Adrian and Leia, kids and adults alike played sardines in the house, and more. It was great catching up with each other and getting to visit even though it was a short trip for us to get back Sunday for Leia’s soccer game. Love getting to see our family and spending time with them all!
