The girls went to the dentist for their checkups. It was Ivy’s second time at the dentist. At her first check up the hygienist was impressed at how well our little girl did and wrote a note that the next visit they would try to do front x-rays. Ivy did not want her teeth brushed, flossed or touched by anyone at the dentist office this time though. Mommy finally convinced her to let mommy brush and floss them but she wanted nothing to do with the hygienist. Ivy did let the dentist look at her teeth after we told her she could sit in the blue chair and learned she had to have them checked to pick out a prize. Happy to hear the news, no cavities for Ivy. Leia was great during her visit! She was excited to show them her two new teeth and let them floss, brush, and examine all they wanted too. Leia was even more excited that they told her three more teeth were starting to get loose; she checks them regularly. She did so well the hygienist decided to do a full mouth x-ray (something they normally do on 6 or 7 years old). All Leia’s little teeth and big girl teeth in the x-rays looked great too.
