Today was one of the days I felt so blessed to be able to stay at home. It simply took slowing down to live in the moment with our girls. I have been so busy getting things done at the house, mind pre-occupied with work, and just the busyness of life that I have not enjoyed the ordinary days which is the best part of life. Sure there was still the sisterly moments and the normal breakdowns that accompany the days in the life of a toddler but those moments were over shadowed with the laughter and smiles. At breakfast we were going through the daily activities and what we ‘needed’ to do today when the girls asked to go to McWane instead since it had been so long. Mommy agreed a fun day was what we needed and ceased the moment. We put the errands and housework off for the day to head out the door for a fun day, no work, and no chores. It was a pure joy watching the girls use their imagination, living in the moment, and playing with them as I focused 100% on them. I managed to snap a few pictures of them enjoying time together, playing, laughing, and soaking up the undivided attention of mommy. To make it even better we got to meet Mimi for lunch before heading home to rest then Leia got to go to dance and we spent the evening together going on a walk in the neighborhood, snuggling, and enjoying time. Time is the best gift to give those we love. I love the two little girls and their daddy more than anything in this world. Looking forward to getting to spend a fun family day when he gets home from his work trip together too. Thankful to be able to spend a carefree day together, living in the moment.

Lunch with Mimi. Ivy was little fussy/being a knuckle head thus she is not pictured
