What a great weekend! Grandpa, Deedee, and Gigi came to visit us. We were suppose to be going to PTC but since Chris is traveling the next three weeks, he asked them to come here instead. We did miss seeing Adrian, Alicia, uncle Diego, and his parents thought; was looking forward to going to a pumpkin patch and watching Adrian’s soccer game. Grandpa, Deedee, and Gigi arrived Friday evening not long before the girls bedtime so the girls got to stay up late to visit a little bit. Leia still asked “why mommy and daddy got to stay up to see them longer then her and sissy?” Saturday morning everyone was awake early and able to enjoy a yummy gravy and biscuit breakfast together before we went to the park to enjoy the nice weather. It wore the girls out so why they napped Deedee, Gigi, and Lisa went to Hancock Fabric and Kohls. That evening Mimi came to join us for dinner and brought pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. It was so nice visiting with everyone. The girls ended up staying up a little longer than normal Saturday too since time slipped away. Sunday morning, Grandpa and Deedee treated us all to breakfast then the girls got in play time with Deedee upstairs while the guys watched sports stuff and Gigi and Lisa enjoyed the view on the back porch and visited. They left to head home about lunch time. Chris left not long after they did heading to Atlanta for the week. The girls went down for much needed rests then Lisa took them to get a popsicle and enjoy a little playtime with Sara and Katie. How we love low-key, family filled, fun weekends!
