Daddy is on a work trip so mommy and the girls had a little girl, pampering time at a new nail salon near the house that was running a special to try to get people in since they just opened this month. Our girls love picking out polish and getting their nails done so it was a fun little mommy-daughter time. Surprisingly they both only picked one color. Leia picked a bright pink with a purple tone to it and Ivy picked a sweet, light pink. The special for kids included both a manicure and pedicure, plus nail art; no special for mommy so she just got a pedicure. The girls both picked flowers for the nail art but “the girl [technician] painted better flowers than the boy” technician. The chairs there were just the girls size and Leia kept saying, “I liked this” and “I love you, mommy”; of course that made mommy smile. Ivy seemed to enjoy it but was not as vocal as her big sister about it. Think this may be a good special treat place for the girls near the house in the future too.
