We were blessed to get to go on a family beach trip again this year, thank you Mimi for taking us! It was a little different than the previous years since we stayed in a condo and Lisa, Stacy, and Mimi went down a couple days early for mother-daughter time and to “prepare everything” for the kids. The first couple days were very relaxing. We went to a couple adult restaurants (Villaggio Grille & Cosmo’s), sipped coffee on the balcony, sat on the beach in the chairs without getting sandy, and were only responsible for ourselves. It was nice but we were we all ready for the kids and boys to get there Thursday. We met them in the parking garage as they were pulling in the condo. Loved listening to the sequels of excitement as the doors were opened. The girls ran through the condo to check it out then was ready to kit the beach! They threw on their swim suits as fast as they could then was off to the beach while the boys chilled for a few minutes after a long drive. The time seemed to fly by! Mimi kept all four girls on Friday night and treated her big kids to a date night and took us all out to eat (Ships Harbor Grille and Cobalt) a couple nights. The girls decided what they wanted to do and rotated between the beach, lazy river, indoor pool, and outdoor pool. Each day was filled with fun, family, and relaxation.
(Pictures below are in no particular order.)
Fun on the beach!
Leia seemed to like sitting in the chair off the sand the most however she played in the ocean, found seashells, and sand a little too.
Ivy did not mind getting in the sand this year (last year she wouldn’t touch it)

They were photo-bombed

The condo at Turquoise was nice!

The girls enjoyed the hot-tub on the balcony

Mimi gave all the girls a fun surprise mid-trip

They had fun games for the kids each day
Hula-hoop time

So relaxing sitting on the balcony in the early morning hours and enjoying it in the evenings

Sweet Ivy did great jumping in … she has no fear. Hopefully this summer she will learn to swim

Ivy had fun running in and out of the zero-entry pool

It looks like you had a wonderful family trip!! Love, Aunt Joy
