We woke up Christmas Eve excited to get to go to Mimi’s to celebrate Christmas with mommy’s side of the family. We enjoyed a big breakfast and time at the house before we headed out the door. We were almost the last ones there :-/. However, we had everyone get family photos again while we were there :). Mimi combined her side and Papa’s side this year; everyone enjoyed lunch, we got to play secret Santa, and spent time just visiting. Time together seems so much more precious and fleeting than in years past. Everyone headed home that afternoon and after Ivy’s nap we met Mimi, Nana, and the Rhoads at the candle light service at church. After church we all headed across the street to Sara and Katie’s house to decorate cookies for Santa.
