Bitter, sweet day! One year ago today we lost our daddy/papa. There is not a day that he is not missed and loved! I would do anything to get to see him, talk to him, watch him with his grand-girls and Mimi, and simply get one of his papa bear hugs. He would be proud of his wife, our Mimi whose strength and faith is a testimony to their love and encouragement to their girls. They lived a great example of what a marriage should be and I am grateful for the years we had together. Thankful he was able to walk both his baby girls down the aisle and meet 4 little princesses; he adored each one of them. His legacy lives on in the eyes of the kids. Thank you Lord we will meet again because of Jesus sacrifice. Until we meet again we will continue living life to the fullest and make memories to share with him when we meet up again. Our adventure today took us to a new Disney park, Epcot. This park seems to be more for older kids than the girls. We rode the rides that we thought they would like (except Soarin since we could not get a fast pass and it had way too long of a wait) and got to listen to wonderful Christmas music before the grand-girls all headed back for rest. Fortunately, for Lisa and Mimi they decided to hang around the park a little longer since everyone else had long trip back to the hotel since a monorail was messed up. That evening we had planned to go to the candle light processional but instead got tickets to a Luau at our hotel. We had tried to get these before we went down since the Luau was one of Lisa’s biggest memories of going down to Disney when she was a kid but they were booked however there was a cancelation so we got to go. The girls all got to get up on stage to hula dance, aunt Stacy and uncle Mark got to have a special dance for their anniversary then uncle Mark danced with sweet Sara, Leia passed out in Mimi’s arms before the show got started good, and we all enjoyed the show and got to see the incredible firework show over the castle. I could not help but wonder as I took in the moments what kind of celebration Papa had celebrating his one year anniversary heaven anniversary. Love and miss you always daddy!
Akershus Breakfast: the girls loved this princess breakfast. The girls got to walk in a princess parade and all the princesses signed their autograph books
