Chris and I went with my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and precious nieces (Sara and Katie) to the beach over Labor Day. This was both of our nieces’ first trip to the beach so I was excited to see how they liked it. We went to a family friendly resort great for kids called Splash in Panama City. Unfortunately, Sara did not feel that great the first couple days so she just wanted to watch more than interact but her mom got her some medicine and by the end she was having a blast splashing in the pool and digging in the sand. Realization is sitting in that our foot loose and fancy free trips that are all about relaxing will not be like  that on our next beach trip since princess Leia will be with us. However, for this trip we relaxed as much as possible. Leia and I spent most of our time relaxing time on the beach under an umbrella or playing with her cousins. Chris enjoyed the beach and pool but spent the hottest parts of the day reading in the air condition. I had wanted to get family pictures on the beach but we did not get to do that; I am going to have to get better about taking pictures once Leia arrives!  However, Chris took some maternity pictures of me on the beach.
